Bardic Dreaming Zine - Winter 2020
The Bardic Dreaming zine was started in Winter 2020 when I proposed to the fanbase of a podcast called Bombarded to make a multimedia zine celebrating the podcast. I wanted to show the joy that the show had given me and share it with others, and after a few interest polls I knew I was not alone.
I found other volunteers who had the same passion as I, and in our group of 6 leaders, we hosted a zine that supported a welcoming community of various artists. It was my first time participating in a zine, let alone running one so I had a lot to learn and was grateful for the group I had created stepping up.
Our zine wanted to be accessible, not only because all the leaders cared strongly about accessibility but because we felt it was necessary to make the works available to the entire community. We put in extra work to make sure that all the steps we could take were taken.
This work was entirely volunteer, and we encourage those who want to "pay" for the zine to instead donate to charity, for this was a project made out of love for the show.
